What is the difference between Diesel & Fuel Spill Kits and Spill Kits for Adblue

We often get asked "What is the difference between Diesel & Fuel Spill Kits and Spill Kits for Adblue?"

AdBlue is a Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) which is used in many vehicles to reduce harmful exhaust gases entering the atmosphere which is made using Urea and Deionized Water.

Spill Absorbents used to make up Hydrocarbon (Oil Only) Spill Kits which are used for Diesel, Fuel & Oils are designed so they only absorb Oils & Fuels not water, this allows them to be used to clean oil slicks and spills from the top of waterways and oil from wet yards or roads.

As AdBlue (DEF) is largely water based these absorbents will not work on cleaning up an AdBlue Spill, so to save confusing we've come up with a range of AdBlue specific spill kits to assist, these Adblue Spill Kits will absorb water, diesel, Adblue and pretty much any liquid whereas the spill kits used for Diesel will only absorb hydrocarbon based products like Fuels or Oils.
